Our Warranty

MATERIAL WARRANTY


This warranty applies to products provided by Twin City Hardware (TCH) and warrants that the products provided hereunder will be free of defects in material and workmanship. These products shall be covered exclusively by the warranty of the manufacturer. There are no warranties which extend beyond the warranty as described in the manufacturer’s warranty documentation. TCH makes no other warranty or representation of any kind, and all implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are hereby disclaimed. br


UPON RECEIPT OF PRODUCT: TCH cannot inspect or control the handling of products once they have been shipped. Due to this, customers are required to inspect all material up on receipt to ensure it is free of defects. The customer must notify TCH, in writing, of any defects within 48 hours of receipt of product. Defects that are not visible or apparent upon receipt must be reported immediately upon discovery of the defect. br


PRIOR TO INSTALLATION: Any product found to be defective where TCH is notified within the stated period, and prior to installation, will at the option of TCH be replaced or repaired at no cost to the customer. Product must be returned at time of replacement. br


AFTER INSTALLATION: If defects are found after installation, replacement costs will only be covered by this warranty with written approval from TCH prior to replacing, and after a cost for the work has been agreed upon. If the defect was apparent prior to installation TCH cannot be responsible for the costs associated with replacing the product. TCH will not be responsible for defects due to incorrect storage, improper installation or maintenance, product being used for purposes that they were not designed/intended, or after occupancy. br


LABOR WARRANTY


TCH INSTALLATION: In addition to any warranty extended to the customer directly from the manufacturer of the product or materials used in the installation, TCH will separately warrant that all of its work substantially conforms to the manufacturer's recommendations and follows industry standards and quality guidelines and that, upon notice from customer, it will correct any faults related to defective workmanship or misapplication of the product at no additional cost to the customer for up to 90 days. br


CLAIMS PROCEDURE: The customer must notify TCH, in writing, of any defects in product or workmanship. Upon notification TCH will work to replace the product or correct any installation issues. For product under manufacturer’s warranty, TCH will replace product at the expense of the customer, and upon receipt of the defective material will issue credit to the customer.
